The ceremony was attended by the members of the PIBG as well as the teachers and pupils of Sekolah Rendah Semabat.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Hj Reduan Bin Hj Rosman followed by a speech from the headmistress of Sekolah Rendah Semabat.
A student representative, Nashrin Anak Belia was invited to say a few words for the ceremony.
To represent himself and the two other staff members who are retiring, Cikgu Haji Syafie took the stage and said a few words.
The ceremony ended with the headmistress presenting each of them with a parting gift, followed by a prayer to close the ceremony.
